One of these situations may well sound familiar.
Your team executes well, but depends on someone external to decide
Every question leaves the team and comes back days later as a recommendation nobody can justify. What's missing isn't more outsourced work: it's judgement of your own, inside.
You did a generic course and nobody applied it to the project
Good scores, no consequences. A syllabus about websites that aren't yours doesn't change what the team does the following Monday.
Skill levels in the team differ a lot and one session doesn't fit everyone
Marketing, content, product and development need different things. Some have too much theory, others lack the context to follow it.
Content ships without a shared view of what's worth doing
Each person prioritises with their own reasoning. You need a shared framework to decide what gets written, what gets updated and what stays untouched.
Development and SEO argue on every release and nobody wins
Requests arrive without an explanation of their impact and sink to the bottom of the backlog. When both teams share the same reasoning, the argument gets shorter.
Search engines and AI assistants keep changing and the team has fallen behind
What was learned three years ago still drives today's decisions. It's the judgement that needs updating, not just the task list.
Four fronts we always work
The syllabus changes with every team, because the sector, the level and the pending decisions change. The way we build it doesn't: first we see where the team stands, then we write the programme with your own project inside it, we practise with your data and we leave the judgement written down.
Where the team stands
Understanding what each profile knows, which decisions they make today and where they get stuck, before writing a single syllabus.
See the detail
- Conversations with leads and with the people who execute
- Actual level by profile: marketing, content, product, development
- Decisions delegated outside today that should stay inside
- What is expected to change once training ends
A programme built for you
Building the itinerary with your sector, your site and your open arguments as the working material.
See the detail
- Separate itineraries by profile, on a shared base
- Examples taken from your project and your competitors
- Format and pace to fit the calendar: short sessions or an intensive
- What we won't cover, said up front
Hands-on sessions
Working with your own data and real cases, so the session ends in decisions taken, not in notes.
See the detail
- Exercises on your own urls, queries and reports
- Real team cases resolved during the session itself
- Awkward questions raised out loud and answered
- Recording and materials for whoever joins later
Judgement that stays
Writing down how decisions get made in your context, so the judgement survives team turnover.
See the detail
- Your own decision guide, with the agreed criteria
- Review templates for before publishing or deploying
- How to measure whether the decision was right, and when to revisit it
- A follow-up session weeks later, with cases already executed
Who does it?
The people who train are the same ones working on client projects. They bring examples of decisions taken this week, and they stay to answer the questions that come afterwards.
Why Laika?
Tailored training isn't a shorter course. It's your project put on the table.
We talk to the team before writing the programme, work with your urls and your reports, and leave a decision guide that still works when new people join.
Training built for you, not a recycled syllabus
The programme is written after talking to the team. If they already master a part, it comes out.
Whoever trains is whoever works on projects
The examples come from decisions taken this week on real projects, with what worked and what didn't.
The goal is for you to stop needing us
We train so the team can decide alone. If you're still asking the same questions afterwards, the training failed.
We work with your data, not textbook examples
Your urls, your reports and your open arguments. What gets practised is what you'll actually do.
Frequently asked questions
How long does a training programme last?
It depends on the assessment. Some teams need two sessions to unblock one decision, others a multi-week itinerary by profile. We decide after talking to you, not before.
Is it in person or online?
Both work. Remote suits short sessions better; in person works for intensives and workshops with several teams at once.
Can you train development and marketing teams together?
Yes, and it's often the most useful setup: a shared part so they share reasoning, then separate sessions with the detail each profile needs.
Does training include you executing the work?
No. In training the team executes and we teach how to decide. If what you need is someone taking decisions with you for months, that's mentoring or consulting.
How long until I see results?
The first findings and decisions land within weeks. Impact on visibility and revenue depends on your platform and your team's implementation speed: on mid-sized projects we usually talk about three to six months for solid movement.
I worked with another agency and it didn't work. Why now?
What usually fails is judgement, not effort: tasks get executed without deciding what matters. Before proposing anything we review your data, and if the problem isn't visibility we'll tell you, even if it means not selling the project.
Tell us who needs training
With the team profiles and the decisions you have stuck, we can tell you which training makes sense and which part isn't needed. We look at your project before proposing anything.
Want your team to decide without asking outside?
We talk to the team and tell you which training is needed and which part you can skip.
We look at your project before proposing anything. Reply within two working days at most.
