Who will look at your project

We're a small, senior team. No juniors learning on your budget and no sales layer between you and the people making the technical calls.

Let's talk about your project
MJ Cachón Yáñez

MJ Cachón Yáñez

Founder and strategy director

At Laika since June 2021 · in the house since March 2013

She has spent eighteen years in search: she started in 2008, went freelance in 2013 and has not stopped positioning projects or explaining it in classrooms and on stage since. She leads Laika's strategy and the judgement behind what we do and don't do. And when there is no reliable public data, she builds it herself: much of the tooling the team uses she has programmed.

Miguel Díaz

Miguel Díaz

Head of SEO

At Laika since April 2019

He came from development and still enjoys reading a log file more than a report. He makes sure large platforms — catalogues of hundreds of thousands of URLs, JavaScript architectures, enterprise environments — are crawled and rendered properly before a euro goes into content. He's the one who says out loud when a release is going to break something.

Nekane Abuelo Berruezo

Nekane Abuelo Berruezo

SEO consultant

In the house since February 2018 (as MJ Cachón; Laika since 2021)

A graphic designer by training, a project manager by trade and an SEO consultant by choice. That mix shows when a migration is underway: she understands what the business asks for, what design can do and what the template change is going to break. The part of SEO she likes most is exactly the one most people fight with: the technical side and migrations.

Focus: Technical SEO and migrations · Languages: ES · GL

Enrique Hidalgo

Enrique Hidalgo

Technical SEO / GEO Freelance

At Laika since September 2019

He has spent more than a decade doing SEO for large brands and almost as long teaching. At Laika he handles the semantic side —architecture, internal linking, topics and entities— as well as technical audits and migrations. He explains like someone in front of a class: no ornamental jargon, with the data in plain sight.

Alejandra María Valles Osorio

Alejandra María Valles Osorio

SEO consultant

In the house since September 2018 (as MJ Cachón; Laika since 2021)

Mexican-Spanish. She came to SEO from corporate communications and content management, and that path explains how she works: first she understands what a project has to say, then how it gets found. She has led SEO for a national newspaper and its Latin American editions, which is where you learn to move volume without losing judgement.

Focus: Content strategy and international SEO · Languages: ES · EN · DE

Irene Blanco

Communications and Digital PR

She started in libraries and archives, cataloguing so information could be found again, and sixteen years ago she moved the same question online: how do you get someone to find what they need. That led her to SEO, content and digital communications. At Laika she leads digital PR and the way our work is told to the outside.

Marta Sutil Corchete

Marta Sutil Corchete

SEO consultant

At Laika since June 2024

She comes from advertising and managing large agency accounts, and she brings a useful habit from that: looking at SEO from the KPI backwards. She has led positioning for an international education portal and ecommerce accounts in banking, sports, fashion and health. She is good at translating what the business asks for into what needs to change on the site.

Focus: SEO for ecommerce and business reporting · Languages: ES · EN

Roberto Vega

Roberto Vega

SEO and CRO consultant

In the house since June 2018 (as MJ Cachón; Laika since 2021)

He studied Graphic Arts, ran companies and ended up in SEO via ecommerce. He has worked with online stores since 2014 and looks at every project through two lenses: traffic and conversion. He is the one who asks what happens after the click.

Focus: SEO for ecommerce, CRO and conversion · Languages: ES · CA · EN
